Dear one,
These have been very busy weeks with radical changes to all of our lives. While many of us have been given the order to “stay home†I have been feeling busier than ever. So many of us are not only retooling how we work but also checking in more frequently with loved ones and making complex decisions for the health of our family and community.
I’ve got a lot resources for cultivating peace and healing in our lives during this time. Even though I’m really excited to share them, if you have been in front of the screen all day I’ll say this:
Unplug
Step outside into this beautiful spring. Spend at least 12 hours not checking the news. Breathe. Clean. Dream. I do not want to add to your to-do list.
I am in deep gratitude to all the people who are stepping up to help others right now. I appreciate the health care workers, everyone who provides essential services, and everyone who is helping those who are feeling the painful economic and social impact from this crisis.
Wisdom Dances is here to empower you to be an agent of transformation and healing during these times.
We can help determine the impact of this virus on our collect lives. Significant personal and global change will only happen if it is supported by spiritual transformation.
There are many ways to meditate and pray for healing. I’m sharing with you a list of all the ways I’m praying during this time. I’m glad to have two or more healing touch points in my days, reconnecting me with peace, love, and creativity. Most of these opportunities are free and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
There is an abundance of healing resources for you now. There are so many ways you can share your healing love with the world, even from your home.

Healing Waters Qigong
Learn simple Spring Forest Qigong movements and meditations that empower you to heal yourself and help others heal. Every week includes a water blessing. No experience necessary. Wisdom Dances Circle
Women’s traditional ritual dances are among the most powerful tools for healing and transformation that I know. This class is based on Laura Shannon’s research on how dances from the Balkans, Greece, and Asia Minor embody an ancient worldview of sustainability, community, and reverence for the earth.
This class meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:00. The format of the class is, as they say, a “fluid situation.” We have had success dancing while exceeding the standards of social distancing. We have also met on Zoom – a format that has allowed us to go deeper into the teachings within the dances. Decisions about the class format will be made on a weekly basis – if you are thinking of coming please contact me to get the most up to date plan for the week.

I continue to offer qigong healing sessions over the phone or video chat. Sometimes one-on-one support can help get things unstuck and shift the spiritual dimension of your challenge. Learn more.
